In his photobook QUERENCIA Sergio Calderón explores the world of Mistress Hibiki, Japanese performer and dominatrix. Between performance and personal identity we enter a supernatural dimension, a suite of interrelated fictions.

Photographed between London and Onomichi, Japan in May 2015. In this photograph series, Sergio Calderón opens up a new window and let us glimpse the alchemy of his work.

QUERENCIA is available in a very limited edition of 96 copies in total. 86 copies in softcover A3 size and a special edition of 10 copies hand bound 21x21cm. Both editions are individually signed and numbered by Sergio Calderón himself.
